The process begins by simply reaching out to our team. You can connect with experts by calling us using the contact us link on our website or by starting an online chat on our Instagram or Facebook. Our team is readily available whenever you are, and we would love to hear from you.
The process entails a few steps:
- The discovery call
- The initial visit
- The design presentation
- The production phase
- The installation
The discovery call is the first point of contact. The discovery call allows our experts to get to know you and the project, allowing us to begin to understand the scope of your project and what you are looking to achieve.
During the initial visit, our team will come to your home equipped with an abundance of fabric samples and trims that inspire or bring to life your project. We will take copious notes based on your goals and specifications and measure the space to plan for your design.
The design presentation appointment includes a sketch and sampling of all the elements of your custom project. This allows you to see two-dimensionally what the project will look like three-dimensionally. We review the design details together and the estimate with the total investment for the projects. When ready to proceed, we collect the deposit and production begins.
Your project is professionally measured, and all materials are sent to the workroom for production. Once the project is complete, installation day arrives. This is an exciting day! Utilizing our white glove service, your custom project is professionally installed. Every tiny detail has been considered for a beautiful finish and a magical unveiling. Your designer is on site throughout the beginning to final installation.
Your designer will be available to you from the initial concept to installation. Our designers are on-site for each visit and final installation. Each designer communicates with the workroom while your project is in production. They manage the entire project, so you will not have to worry about any aspect of your custom drapery experience. We do it all for you!
A custom drapery project typically takes on average six to eight weeks. We will verify to ensure all fabrics and trim are in stock and let you know if there are any expected delays in advance. Custom drapery takes time, but we assure you that the final product will be well worth the wait!
Not at all! We can build your dream design with even just a color preference as a starting point. Our designers are very creative and have access to expansive selections of fabrics, trims and hardware. We will guide you, listen to your likes and dislikes, and present a final design.
The total investment for your custom project; window treatment, interior design or custom bedding project, is determined during the discovery call, and our designers carefully respect and manage the budget throughout the process, ensuring it is not exceeded.
There are virtually not unexpected costs to be made aware of as the estimate discussed in the design presentation includes all aspects of your custom window treatment project.
