Brenda Baxter – Owner & Designer
Brenda Baxter, owner and principal designer of Custom Drapery Designs, is a multi-award-winning window fashion professional. Brenda has worked with local designers and the area’s top design centers for over 30 years. She is well known in the North Texas area as an inexhaustible source of creative window treatment and interior decor designs, providing solutions for even the most demanding commercial or residential projects. Brenda notices every detail and manages the project from beginning to end. Her commitment to excellence, dedication to staying on top of the latest fashions and products in the business, and her personable nature make her the best choice for all your window covering, soft-good, and decor design needs. When out of the office, Brenda is a Pilates enthusiast who enjoys the outdoors, especially with her dog Bailey. A true-bred Dallasite, she loves the Dallas Arboretum, local art shows, art galleries, and the Dallas Symphony.
Stephanie Freeman – Designer
Stephanie Freeman has produced stunning window treatments and interior designs for over 20 years. She began her career as a soft goods specialist at a leading design studio, then became Vice President of Sales at an award-winning workroom. She joined Brenda in 2014 and started her journey with Custom Drapery Designs as the lead designer for window treatments and interior design. Stephanie has a sharp eye for detail and loves to play with color. Her unique style, married to her education in Psychology and Interior Design, makes her skilled at translating the client’s style into something beautiful for their home. Her work is set apart by her choice of high-end, quality materials, craftsmanship, and superbly tailored details. Stephanie loves to travel with her family. She enjoys experiencing new cultures and appreciating a city’s history and architecture.
Susan Williams – Designer
With a BA from Indiana University and over 20 years of design experience, Susan Williams has used her creative skills in the most expansive ways. From working with a custom home builder as a design consultant to an independent design consultant for several remodeling projects, from costume designer to drapery and soft goods designer, Susan has acquired an extensive skill-set to tie the different elements of a home together and create magic. Her love for building relationships with her clients and creating custom solutions for their design needs makes it a truly rewarding experience. Susan is a certified barre instructor and passionate about the performing arts. When she’s at home, you’ll find her spending quality time with her husband and kids, planning their next getaway whilst whipping up a fantastic meal.
